Hello, friends:
A huge thanks to all of you who responded to our parish ministry fair last weekend. I have great news to share; there were over 200 of you who signed up, who are interested in making our parish community even better. You should be expecting a follow up phone message very soon; hopefully this will be a great opportunity for our family to further our mission to share the Good News of Jesus’ love. I’m very grateful to the members of the parish pastoral council as well as to the heads of ministry, who help animate and give life to the various parish activities.
This weekend I’m visiting Holy Trinity seminary, in Dallas, along with seminarian Frankie and several other young men, who are interested in looking into seminary life. Please pray for our diocesan seminarians as well as those who are discerning a possible vocation of service to our church. Thanks, again, to the parish council for their efforts in reaching out to our seminarians. You’ll notice that we all have an opportunity to pray for each one of them. At the back of the hall you’ll see an SOS (support our seminarians) sign with information on how you can pray for and support all of our seminarians.
Please pray for our business manager, Isabel Gallegos, who is out of the office, recovering from a medical procedure. Hopefully she won’t be out too long; but please keep her in prayer, for a speedy recovery!
