I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the wonderful outreach following my medical procedure. I’m thankful for the various acts of kindness; for the prayers, please keep them coming; for the food, I was blessed in such a great variety of menu items; for the card and the many other expressions of care and concern during this last week. I’m truly grateful for the love that was shared; thank you!

​The parish will be celebrating First Holy Communion for the next two weekends; please pray for and congratulate our children. A special thank to the teachers; please join me in thanking them for their time and for the ways in which they help form the next generation of Catholics. There were several students from Las Cruces Catholic schools who received their First Communion last weekend; please join me in congratulating them as well; blessings!

Happy Easter, family!

We’re always going somewhere, right? We started the Lenten journey that brought us to Easter and now from Easter, we continue our travels to the great feast of Pentecost. The church invites us to new sensibilities throughout these next fifty days that we
might truly see, touch and know the risen Christ in our live.

Congratulations to those who were received into full communion at the Easter vigil. Thanks for your witness of faith and for saying yes to the Lord’s invitation. Please join me in praying for these newest members of our church community!

Thanks to all who helped, in any way, with our recent liturgical celebrations! It truly takes a village to create beautiful liturgies. I hope and pray that each of you have a joyous Easter celebration!
