Faith Formation
St. Albert Newman is committed to the faith formation of our children. We offer many opportunities to enrich and guide you on your spiritual journey. We offer programs for first through fifth grade, Youth Ministry programs for Middle and High School students, as well as Adult Faith Formation. It is our hope that a future generation, who was formed and educated in our parish will celebrate a faith filled future.
Relgious Education 1-5Children's faith education starts at the very beginning, in your homes with the family sharing our faith heritage.
We work to continue that education in a dynamic way by welcoming all young people to prepare for and celebrate the Sacraments of First Reconciliation (Confession), the First Eucharist (Communion) and Confirmation. |
Youth MinistryConfirmation
This sacrament, through the laying on of hands, the anointing with chrism, and through prayer, the baptized are strengthened by the Holy Spirit in order to profess and defend the faith and live up to it faithfully. Life Teen Youth Ministry
As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church and with the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. |
Adult Faith FormationAdult Confirmation
Are you an adult Catholic who has not received the sacrament of Confirmation? Have you been feeling a call from the Lord to deepen your faith walk? Adult RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Through RCIA, non-baptized persons and those who have been baptized in another Christian tradition may become a Catholic. |
Are you being called to be a catechist?
As Catholics, our call is to be stewards of the gifts given to us by God and to use those gifts to benefit all. St. Albert's relies heavily on the stewardship of many parishioners. We have several opportunities to share the Catholic faith with the children of St. Albert Newman:
Why become a catechist?
-The best way to learn about the Catholic faith is to teach.
-Your own faith will come alive.
-You assist in bringing Christ to children.
-You show your own family that you value the Catholic faith.
-You become a role model to children.
-You bring joy!
