Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is that sacrament by which, through the laying on of hands, the anointing with chrism, and through prayer, the baptized are strengthened by the Holy Spirit in order to profess and defend the faith and live up to it faithfully. Confirmation completes the graces of baptism, and is indeed one of the three Sacraments of Initiation along with Baptism and the Holy Eucharist
We extend a warm welcome to our Confirmation candidates, their sponsors and parents! This is a two-year faith formation process for all students, but the preparation process can vary depending on individual circumstances. The best way for parents to prepare their child to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation is to model active participation in the Sacraments, especially weekly Mass attendance.
