    Hello friends,

This weekend, we celebrate Pentecost Sunday. It has been 50 days since Easter, hence the name Pentecost. It is a day to think of the fire of God's Holy Spirit dwelling within us.

In today's first reading, a selection from the Acts of the Apostle's, you heard the words: "When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit..." the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, is like a wind, like a flame. The Spirit can present itself to you like a strong wind or gentle breeze. Like fire, the Spirit can bring you light and warmth. "Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of the faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love." Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the Earth". Each one of you today, all of us together, can be filled with the Holy Spirit. We can be fired up and ready to renew the face of the Earth. At least we can be fired up to renew our small portion of the earth with love.

    Hola amigos,

Envia, Senor, tu Espiritu. Que renueve la faz de la Tierra
