The Lord is truly risen, alleluia. To Him be glory and power for all the ages of eternity, alleluia, alleluia. We just lived the Passion of Christ throughout Holy week. In it we ponder in the mysteries of Jesus' suffering, death and resurrection. We witnessed the liturgy of the Triduum, the washing of the feet during the Lord's Supper, on Friday the Lord's Passion and on Saturday the Easter Vigil, the Mother of all vigils, the greatest and most noble of all solemnities. That same night several candidates and catechumens were welcome into full communion with the Church.
Now we start another beautiful season in the Church, Easter. During this season we celebrate Christ's victory over death. He gave His life for us that we may live and have eternal life with Him in heaven. There is no doubt that there is no greater love than the one who gives his/her life for others. And He is Risen, Alleluia!
Felices Pascuas! Happy Easter!
