Come to Aggie Awakening!

​Dear Newman Community,
 
The students are gearing up for Campus Ministry’s biggest event of the semester– the Aggie Awakening Retreat! Coming up the weekend of October 20-22, the retreat is a great opportunity for students to get away from the busy-ness and stress of school and work to grow in relationship with God and others. Over three days at Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, the retreatants experience a series of faith talks, prayer opportunities, and time with fellow students.
 
The retreat is put on by students for students. We typically have about 30 students serve as ‘staff’ for the retreat. The staff put in countless hours the weeks before the retreat to help make sure the weekend is a rich spiritual experience for their peers. Please join me in praying for these generous, hardworking students as they enter the busiest part of prep for Awakening.
