Children's faith education starts at the very beginning, in your homes with parents sharing our faith heritage. At St. Albert Newman Parish we work to continue that education in a dynamic way by welcoming all young people to prepare for and celebrate the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.
 
SACRAMENTS:
​Sacrament of First Reconciliation (Confession)
Is the Sacrament of Penance (Confession). Preparation for this sacrament starts in the Kindergarten curriculum and immediate preparation begins in the fall of grade 2. The First Reconciliation celebration is traditionally celebrated in the Spring.​​

Sacrament of First Eucharist (Communion)
First Communion preparation is a two year commitment that starts in grade 1 and immediate preparation begins in grade 2 . The celebration of First Eucharist is traditionally celebrated in the Spring. Students must have made their First Reconciliation prior to entering First Communion.​
